Buying Tickets

You can buy your Dubai Ferry Tickets at the ferry terminus (each one has its own ticket office right next to where the ferry departs) and they can be paid for by either cash, debit or credit card or Nol card. Your Nol card will need to be charged up with the full fare beforehand.

You can also buy tickets from the RTA website.

The tourist trips run for around an hour so this is a quite good value for a tour of the Dubai coastline.

There are also two spaces available for wheelchair users in the silver class area of the ferry.

The Dubai Ferry is also available for private hire – contact the RTA on 800 9090 for further information.

    1. Sorry for the delay in replying. Those who have a SANAD card are eligible for free transport. Please confirm with the RTA ticket prices for accompanying family as we do not have that information.

  2. Hello, I bought a ferry ticket on the Burj Khalifa website. Where should I exchange the ticket receipt, and where does the ferry depart from? .Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi Roman, you would have chosen your departure point and time when you booked so it should say on your receipt. Just take the receipt to the departure point at the relevant date and time for your departure. It looks like they are only booking from the Dubai marina right now so The Marina terminal is a short walk (about 500 yards to the left) from outside the Marina Mall.

  3. Hi there! I’m planning for a Round Trip from Ghubaiba station in Dubai Ferry… We are a family of 6, Parents + 4 kids (Aged 10, 6, 3 & Infant). I also have a Go4it Platinum card which offers special discounts on special days. Can I buy the Family bundle tickets along with this card offers?

  5. Hi is there any ferry from Dubai Marina to Al Gubaiba ferry station? Or is this only one way; Al Gubaiba to Dubai Marina?

  6. Dear Reader,

My family and i are planning to have a ride from al ghubaiba to dubai marina in february 2020. we are coming from egypt so i have a couple of questions please.
first, the ticket is 50 per person right?
second, will it be possible to buy the ticket from al ghubaiba marine station immediately before the trip?
third, the last trip starts at 6,30 in al ghubaiba station right?

    Thanks in advance,
    Monika

  7. I want to know if there is any trip planned to Burj Khalifa to visti the new year fire crackers show? If yes, please share the details, about where to purchase the ticket, price of the ticket and timings.

  8. hello,
I´m planning a ferry trip with my family for our holidays. Is it right when we would like to see dubai from the water we should take the circular trip from Dubai Marina to see atlantis and the other trip is to burj al arab and back?
when we book the trip dubai marina to al ghubaiba the ferry also goes around atlantis, right?
is it ok to be there 30min before departure or earlier?
    thanks,

    1. Hi, yes you can choose either of the circular trips – one goes to Atlantis and the other Burj al Arab. The trip from the Marina to Al Ghubaiba does not go around the palm, it goes shoreside of it, so near the Burj al Arab but you can still see Atlantis from a distance.

  9. Hi,

How long will be the round trip from Marina Mall to near Atlantis ?

I see a free gold ticket for my emirates nbd card which is valid on

-First and second fridays of the month at 2:30PM on Round trip from Al Ghubaiba water transport station up to the area close to Burj Al Arab

-Third and Fourth fridays of the month at 2:30PM on Round trip from Marina Mall water transport station up to the area close to Atlantis on Palm Jumeirah

I see the Marina Mall to near Atlantis is a short route – How much time will it run?

We are 2 adults and 1 child (2 years)- I am intending to use one free gold ticket and purchase another 1 by paying.

    Thanks
    Rashid

    1. Hi Shoji, the tickets that you can buy on the Burj Khalifa site do vary but currently you cannot purchase a gold class ticket on there.

  10. Hi
Can you please tell me if we book the Ferry circular route can we get off the Ferry at the Marina and have a walk and board the next Ferry also what are the times of the ferry

    1. Hi Lynda, all circular routes start and end at the same place so I am not sure which route you are referring to. All times are shown on the routes page.

        1. Hi, that depends on whether you want to see the Burj Khalifa with the waterfall over the Dubai Canal at night time or else Atlantis or the Burj Dubai during the day. You will need to take different trips to see these.

  11. If we start from one point and end to the same, just for a small trip boat and canal view experience, how much they charges?

      1. Good morning,
What would be the price from Dubai Marina to the new station at the Dubai Mall and back for two adults an one child (10)? And how long does it take for one way? Thks.
